Their adventures teach Scamper to recognize the pleasures, as well as the dangers that lie in the nocturnal world of the forest. In the end, the tiny squirrel must face his worst fears in order to save his loved ones and, in the ordeal, Scamper discovers why he is different and who and what he is.
